We firmly advocate feeding your precious pet a high quality food  for your new North Austin Labradoodle puppy.

When your pet is experiencing health issues, giving them the best veterinary care possible is essential, but preventing is something we at North Austin Labradoodles feel very strongly about! You'll never regret using a high-quality food with high quality ingredients... and neither will your precious pet!

Families require food that is easy to obtain, nutritional, safe, and, for most families, easy to prepare. Pawtree foods and the Life’s Abundance Nutritional System meets all these requirements! We are impressed by the quality, high standards, and the testimonials from customers of these companies. With that, all of our dogs and puppies are fed either Pawtree or Life’s Abundance (LA).  We have made it our focus to protect the health and future, while maintaining the integrity, of the Multi-generational Australian Labradoodle Breed. It is our goal to offer our  families healthy, gorgeous, and sweet-tempered puppies that will bring doodle love and silly laughter into their home. Good nutrition is an integral part of that equation.

Pawtree was founded by Roger Morgan. Roger was determined to find a way to reciprocate the love that our pets give us unconditionally each day. To do so, he partnered with a team of top veterinarians and a PhD in Animal Science and Pet Nutrition and the result was pawTree, a company dedicated to creating a world filled with unconditional love where pets and their people thrive. A company devoted to creating phenomenal products for healthier pets, happier hearts and homes.

 

The LA line of products was formulated by Dr. Jane Bicks, DVM, a holistic vet with over 20 years of experience. She has served as President of the American Veterinarian Association of New York City, earned three Presidential Citations, was appointed by Mayor Rudolph Giuliani to help establish one of the largest animal shelters in the world, is the author of three books on responsible care and treatment of pets, and has appeared on 48 Hours, Good Morning America, CNN, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and more. She has also created a non-profit foundation where a percentage of her product line is contributed toward rescue and care for pets.

 

Many of the ingredients in commercial pet food today can actually cause our pets to have a shorter life span due to sub-par ingredients. Ingredients that cause stress on kidney and liver function, allergies, obesity, or overall poor health include; wheat, corn, and soy. By-products such as chicken heads, duck bills, fish heads, chicken and turkey feet, and bones can also be included in our pet foods! Chemical additives such as BHA and BHT are known carcinogens, and Ethoxyquin is used to stabilize rubber, all of which can be found in our dog’s food! These chemicals are added to provide a longer shelf life. Food can be stored on a shelf or in a warehouse for months, or even years.

Recommendation Transition Guide:

 

Day 1-2: Feed ¼ new food and ¾ of the old diet.

Day 3-4: Feed ½ new food and ½ of the old diet.

Day 5-6: Feed ¾ new food and ¼ of the old diet.

Day 7: The transition period is over and you can feed the recommended amount of your new dog good.
